Kinéis stack consists of a pre-compiled code library than can be used on the STM32WL evaluation board to generate Kinéis modulation and communicate with its satellites.

Thanks to Kinéis stack, existing RF chipset will become compatible with the Kinéis system and development cycle for new hardware development will be reduced. This will help and accelerate new products development for device manufacturers and enable product retrofit.  

Kinéis partners with ST to democratize access to satellite IoT Connectivity with the STM32 Evaluation Kit (NUCLEO-WL55JC2). This component offers the perfect solution for a first demonstration of the integration of Kinéis technology in a generic off-the-shelf component.  

Smartsat, the new Kinéis discovery program

With the STM32 Evaluation Kit (NUCLEO-WL55JC2) Kinéis will launch its new discovery program: Smartsat. This new plan is a simple way to try out the connectivity by using a well-known component frequently used for IoT connectivity integration. 

The Smartsat Program is designed to simplify the satellite IoT adoption: Kineis will offer trial connectivity and provisioning for the STM32WL Evaluation board (NUCLEO-WL55JC2) in a free evaluation program. 

After the trial phase, you can enter a development program where Kinéis will provide support for software integration, service validation and Kinéis transmitter and device certifications. More info on the program in the section SmartSat program.
