EmulSat is a satellite emulator allowing to simulate the RF communication with a Kinéis satellite, by combining a software tool developed by Kinéis with an off-the-shelf Software-Defined Radio platform (ADALM-PLUTO by Analog Devices, Inc.).

Why use a Kinéis satellite emulator?

• Early development before the launch of the constellation and service opening
• Test the real Kinéis uplink and downlink RF signals and modulations
• Fast integration for any module-based device (KIM1 or KIM2)

For its user, the satellite emulator "replaces" the satellites, ground stations and processing center, as shown in the figure below:
